The voyage log · eight possible days
The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands: Eight suggested days combining colorful coastal towns, optional city visits, and island time.
01 / 08Day 01 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Begin around Portofino, explore the small harbor, and enjoy a first meal on board. Continue along the coast toward Cinque Terre if time and conditions suit.
Day 02 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Enjoy the villages from the sea and plan a shore visit from a suitable landing point. Some villages are better reached by land; the crew can help shape the day.
Day 03 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Consider a beach day on the Tuscan coast, with the Apuan Alps in the distance. Shore access and transfers are arranged from a suitable harbor or landing point.
Day 04 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Use Livorno as a possible base for a trip to Pisa by car. You can explore the cathedral square or choose to spend the day on board instead.
Day 05 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Stay around Livorno for a full-day trip to Florence by road. Art, local food, and a walk through the city can shape the visit; this is a land excursion, not a yacht stop.
Day 06 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Cross to the Tuscan islands for a change of pace. Explore Portoferraio or another of Elba's harbor towns, or choose time in a granite bay, with the crossing planned around the forecast.
Day 07 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Continue south to Giglio. Explore the waterfront at Giglio Porto or spend the day in a quiet bay, with the island's clear water close at hand.
Day 08 · The Italian Riviera & Tuscan Islands
Finish in the Monte Argentario area, with time for a last swim or lunch before disembarking at the agreed port. Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole both suit a final walk ashore.
A possibility, never a fixed itinerary. Your captain adapts the route to your wishes and conditions at sea.
A little further along the coast
Small discoveries often become the most memorable part of a voyage. Each begins as a clue; open it to see where the day could lead.
